Kingsgate have invested £120,000 in a brand new state-of-the-art parking system.
The new system will provide visitors to the shopping centre with an easy to use, customer friendly pay station, upgrading the outdated system to a chip & pin plus contactless system.
Customers will enter the car park in the same location as previously, receiving a ticket on entry. When leaving customers simply pay at the pay stations provided or on a payment app on their phone, significantly decreasing visitors queueing time when leaving the shopping centre.
Further good news for customers is that the cost of parking will remain the same.
This is the beginning of a number of Kingsgate improvements which will include a significant leisure development.
Jonathan Hardy, Centre Manager, said: “We are always looking for ways to improve the customer experience here at Kingsgate and believe this significant investment in an up to date parking system will be extremely beneficial for all visitors to the store.
The new system will significantly decrease the time it takes for visitors to leave the shopping centre, ensuring their visit is as enjoyable as it possibly can be.”
